Russian is one of the nine world languages. It has 170 mln native speakers and more than 300 mln people learn it as a second language. It’s not only the official language of the Russian Federation, but also of several other countries in Europe and Asia. Russian has an official language status in important international organizations, such as The United Nations (UN), Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and The Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

Nowadays about 180 mln people all over the world learn Russian as a foreign langauge for many different reasons. Here are some of them:

• business success: strong economical, political and cultural connections have been formed between Russia and many countries in Europe, Asia and America. Many foreign companies are dealing with Russian firms or have their branch offices in Russia;
• reasons of education: many Russian writers, as Tolstoy, Chekhov, Dostoevsky, are considered to be among the most talanted writers in the world literature history, their works have been attracting many scholars and men of arts since the date of their creation;
• love of travelling: Russia has many beautiful cities: Saint Petersburg, named “The Northern Venice” by many of its visitors, Moscow, the capital of the country, the ancient towns of the Golden Ring of Russia, which are often called museums in the open air, and many others. One is sure to get far more interesting experiences out of a trip if he knows the language of the country he’s going to.

Learning in groups

We conduct our lessons in small group classes with a maximum of six students. Groups are available to students of all levels.

The course comprises 120 hours per week for at least four weeks. We have no limits for the maximal course duration.

Our students regularly do test works, so that we can be sure that they acquire necessary language skill.

We don’t teach only abstract rules. Having accomplished our course, a student knows and uses grammar patterns and vocabulary of the Russian language he needs for his everyday life. Our special methodology helps students to concentrate on the theme in question during the lesson. We use various simulation games and exercises to make every lesson more effective and interesting.

Individual courses

If you sign up to take this course, you’ll be able to choose the subject you want to learn with your teacher. According to your wishes, we select materials, work out a curriculum and prepare necessary vocabulary beforehand.

You yourself can choose intensity and duration of the course. We offer individual schedule, designed in response to your wishes: depending on it, lessons can be conducted on weekdays or weekends.

These courses can be booked throughout the year.

Individual courses can be run outside the school. In that case, a teacher sees the student where he lives. Rates and schedule are identical to those of the lessons conducted at school.

Sertificates

Having accomplished the whole course, all students are given graded certificate in Russian and English issued by the school, where the achieved level of Russian, number of academic hours and course type are stated.
